Our organic fleece patchwork track bottoms are made with both organic and recycled materials.
The base material used for this garment is 100% GOT certified organic cotton, this is important as it removes harmful chemicals from the production process. These track bottoms feature patchwork details that utilise up-cycled fleeces. Using pre existing materials creates a second life for the fabric reducing the demand for new virgin materials to be produced and also means these Bethany Williams garments are unique.
The organic fleece patchwork track bottoms have been made by Making For Change, a social manufacturing project based inside HMP Downview and in Poplar, supporting and training participants with makers skills and qualifications.
The organic fleece patchwork track bottoms are part of The Hands That Heal Us AW22 collection, inspired by the ever growing community of makers, creatives, local and social manufacturers all of whom play such an integral part in the Bethany Williams brand and supply chain. This season we worked once again with artist Melissa Kitty Jarram for the print story, who was asked to integrate and interpret all of the making partners and their specific role in the supply chain into the artworks.
Did you know? The patchwork bottoms are part of a matching tracksuit, matching with the Organic Fleece Patchwork Track Top, made in the same organic cotton and reclaimed fleece material and colours.
