The Our Tools print trousers from this Bethany Williams collection are made using deadstock fabric which utilises pre existing material that would otherwise end up in landfill. Using deadstock creates a second life for waste textiles without creating the demand for new virgin materials to be produced.
The Our Tools print has been created in collaboration with artist Melissa Kitty Jarram and is inspired by the important of the tools that are used throughout the craft and making process of each collection.
The garment has been made in England by one of our local manufacturing partners, and has been screen printed by our longstanding partner Orto Print, a female owned and lead screen printing studio based in Peckham who work with ethically produced inks. We work hard to ensure our production is close to home, to promote and support local supply chains within the UK.
The Our Tools Print Trousers are a part of The Hands That Heal Us AW22 collection, inspired by the ever growing community of makers, creatives, local and social manufacturers all of whom play such an integral part in the Bethany Williams brand and supply chain.
