Made in England, the Small Dictionary Woven Book Bag is a part of a series of cross body bags made in England by London based bag maker Stevan Saville. Inspired by childhood memories of school book bags, the design was created as part of our SS21 collection carried forward to SS22. Made from 100% vegan materials, this mini bag is a consciously created luxury item – using sustainably sourced materials, handcrafted by specialists.
With craftsmanship at heart, the Small Dictionary Woven Book Bag is finished with vegan suede lining, and a Bethany Williams nameplate.
Utilising book cover waste of Children's classics, the fabric that wraps each bag is woven by San Patrignanousing book waste from the British publishing industry. Due to the nature of the woven fabric, each bag is completely unique and multicoloured by nature, featuring individual colour combinations.
Looking for a new mini bag? Our Small Dictionary Woven Book Bag can fit the latest Iphone (please note: not the Iphone plus) – it’s your next everyday cross body bag.
All Our Children, our SS21 collectioncelebrates the ethos of The Magpie Project, an organisation we have been volunteering for and collaborating with since 2019. Newham-based Magpie Project works with children and mothers who are homeless or at risk of homelessness – 80% of whom have no recourse to public funds (NRPF). Jane Williams set up the Magpie Project to insist that – no matter what – every child has the right to support: they are all our children.
A donation from this sale will go to the charity we collaborated with, The Magpie Project.
