As part of the regular Late at Tate series, in August 2017 at the Late at Tate Britain entitled STANCE, which explored the reclamation of cultural identity through fashion and style, Bethany Williams was invited to lead a weaving workshop and speak as part of a discussion on the politics of fashion.
Bethany showcased clothing from the Women of Change collectionand led a drop-in weaving workshop inspired by our socially sustainable approach to fashion.
Bethany joined a panel discussion led by Finn Mactaggart on the politics of fashion, alongside Rhea Dillon and Jenna Young they collectively discussed the obsession with appropriating working class aesthetics, fashion activism and diversity within the industry.
